Planning permission is being sought for a new all-weather sports pitch at a Carlow school.
The proposal, submitted by Saint Brigid’s National School in Clonegal, features a multi-purpose artificial turf pitch.

The project also includes rebound walls, fencing, ball-stop netting, access gates, walkways, drainage, and landscaping.
The development is planned for a site to the rear of the school. A final decision from Carlow County Council is due by the end of September.
