New national strategy to tackle radon cancer will launch in Kilkenny today

A national strategy will be launched in Kilkenny today to tackle the 250 new lung cancer cases diagnosed each year which are linked to exposure to radon gas.

Minister Phil Hogan will open the National Radon Forum In Kilkenny this morning.
