Carlow Kilkenny TD Phil Hogan has told KCLR News that it will be next Friday before he finds out if he’s landed an EU Commissioners job in Brussels.
It was rumoured in some circles that our local TD would find out this weekend if he got the Agriculture portfolio but he has clarified that it’s not the case.

He was announced as Ireland’s nominee for the position when the Taoiseach revealed his cabinet reshuffle this summer.
