The cats claimed an astonishing 36th All Ireland Hurling title beating Galway in Croke Park yesterday

They didn’t have it all their own way however and found themselves trailing the westerners 14 points to 1-8 at half time but Kilkenny dominated the 2nd half outscoring the Tribesmen in the second half.

Jackie Tyrrell’s speech to the players at half time has been mentioned as the inspiration for their 2nd half fight back.

Goal scorer TJ Reid spoke to KCLR after the game and was adamant that no team works harder than Kilkenny in the country…..
