North Kilkenny communities to see revamped centres officially open today

Two north Kilkenny neighbouring areas will see their community centres officially opened later today.

The facility in Urlingford has long been sought and the Town Team’s been driving the project forward – KCLR News paid a visit in 2024 with then Minister Heather Humphreys (more here).

While a sister outlet in nearby Johnstown too has been upgraded.

Now the revamps are ready to be revealed with Minister Dara Calleary due to carry out the ribbon-cuttings in both spotsthis afternoon.
