The spotlight was on Kilkenny as an example of best practice in tourism over the past few days as a delegation from Northern Ireland visited.
Representatives of up to 50 businesses were in the city meeting with local tourism experts to find out how its done in Kilkenny.
Its part of a ‘Grow your horizons’ programme and the delegation were in the area to see what they could possibly learn from Kilkenny as a tourist destination which attracts visitors from overseas.
