Number of schools in Carlow receive ‘threatening email’

Some Carlow schools are understood to have received what’s been described as a ‘threatening email’.

A number across the county had the correspondence this morning from an unidentifed source.

Some have chosen to keep their doors closed this morning, others remain open.

Parents will be notified directly.

It’s been reported to Gardaí are investigating.
