Old Stand to be roofless for Kilkenny’s clash with Offaly

The Kilkenny county board has confirmed that the Old Stand will be roofless for the Leinster championship clash against Offaly on June 7th

According to today’s Irish Examiner chairman Ned Quinn has revealed that a four month repair process will be required after damage suffered in January’s storm with work yet to get underway

The match will be the first screened as part of SKY’s new deal with the Gaa with insurers still assessing the damage caused to the 1,800 capacity stand.
