Despite Kilkenny suffering a narrow three-point defeat to Cork at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh, one player’s performance stood out.
Jordan Molloy has been named in the GAA’s Team of the Week, a testament to his strong showing in midfield last Saturday night.
The O’Loughlin Gaels man put in a serious shift in the middle of the park, catching the eye of many, including two-time All-Ireland winner Mickey Walsh.
Walsh was full of praise for Molloy, stating, “Jordan did exceptionally well in the middle of the field.”
While the result didn’t go Kilkenny’s way, Molloy’s inclusion in the Team of the Week is a well-earned recognition of his efforts.
