One of Kilkenny city’s ‘most dangerous crossings’ to get new safety measures

New safety measures are being introduced at what’s been described as one of Kilkenny City’s most dangerous crossings.

Councillor Sean O’hArgáin says the 250-year-old Greens Bridge is no longer fit for modern traffic, with speeding vehicles leading to near misses and injuries.

Raised pedestrian crossings are now being installed to slow traffic, with one nearly complete and more planned for the area.
