A person was trapped in their car after a collision on a roundabout in Carlow earlier today.
The incident happened shortly before 1 o’clock on the roundabout near the local IT on the Kilkenny Road.

One woman was trapped in her car for a period of time and had to be taken from it by emergency services.
The occupants of the other car were treated for minor injuries on the scene.
Meanwhile a bus and three cars were involved in a collision in Kilkenny City this afternoon.
Gardaí attended the scene at the traffic lights at the top of John’s Street where the incident happened at about 3.30.
No-one was injured but traffic through the city was heavily backed-up for more than an hour.
