One person has been killed in this morning’s crash in County Wexford.
It happened at about 6:30am on the N25 at Barntown and is now understood to have involved three vehicles.
A woman aged in her twenties who was driving a car was pronounced dead at the scene with her body taken to University Hospital Waterford for a post mortem examination.
A man, aged in his forties, who was driving a van has been taken to Wexford General Hospital for treatment – his injuries are understood to be non-life-threatening.
There’s no information regarding the person who was driving the third vehicle, a truck.
A technical examination is due to be carried out at the scene by Forensic Collision Investigators so the route remains closed with local diversions in place.
