Oscailt Monday March 4 2013

Claire Bolger from Deaf Hear joined us on air to talk about the group’s services, opening hours and their new local premises. They’re still in the same building on Friary Street, Kilkenny, just on a different floor with a new entrance.

Dolly McDowell joined us to talk about caring for her brother and the books she’s written.

Ken Fox from the Disabled Drivers Association of Ireland discussed the Govt’s move to scrap the motorised grant and the mobility allowance.

And Edwina Grace had an update of events of interest – you’ll find details of these on our Community Diary
