A Castlecomer man has urged other local men to ask for help if they are suffering from depression.
Chubby Brennan, who is well known in his community, says he went through hell over the past two years with mental health struggles.
Mr Brennan ran a restaurant, the Lime Tree in Castlecomer, which was a success until the recession hit.
He says pressure from the banks and bills arriving in the post got him down.
Chubby overcame his depression and now he wants others who are suffering in the same way to look for help.
