A man in his 40s has appeared in court in relation to a Carlow Puppy Farm.
In April of last year more than 300 dogs and puppies were found – some dead, others seriously neglected at the premises in Myshall.
The dogs and also a number of horses were seized by the ISPCA.
On Wednesday of this week the owner appeared before Carlow District Court charged with a number of offences contrary to the Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013.
He was remanded to appear again in the near future.
