The owner of a puppy farm shut down near Myshall earlier this year will no longer be seeking to have his licence restored.
A council spokesperson has confirmed to KCLR today that they have been contacted by a solicitor for the owner to say the appeal is being withdrawn.
The premises was issued with a closure order following inspection last April.
The appeal to that closure was due to be heard in Carlow Court last month but was adjourned until December.
