PAC to get legal advice after being told it cannot force former Rehab CEO's to attend
The Public Accounts committe are heading into a meeting now to examine the decision by the Dails Internal watchdog to refuse it permission to force 2 former REHAB CEOs to appear before it.
The Committee on Procedures and Privileges – voted unanimously last night to say the P-A-C can’t bring in the two former Rehab CEOs.
It says Rehab doesn’t fall under the direct financial supervision of the state – and therefore it can’t allow the P-A-C to call in executives to answer questions about a private entity.
