Panel of local celebrities to judge School of Sound Competition in Carlow

Local secondary school singers and musicians will be battling to gain celebrity approval this Christmas.

The School of Sound talent competition will see schools from around Carlow performing in a competition organised by four transition year students in Tullow Community School.

Celebrity Judges including Pat Byrne, Sean O’Brien, Regina Hanley and Ollie Hennessey will choose the winner and award a cash prize in the George Bernard Shaw Theatre on the 22nd December.

Roisin Cullen is one of four transition year students organising the event and says it will be a variety of music genres.
