Parents want a re-think on safety of school bus collection point
Local parents are calling for a re-think on the safety of a pick up point for secondary school students between Thomastown and Graiguenamanagh.
They’ve asked Bus Eireann if it can be moved as theres no suitable parking, no footpaths or street lighting in the area at Butlers Cross where the bus currently stops.
Parents have met at Grennan College in the last month to discuss their concerns.
One of them Susan Lanigan told Sue Nunn this morning they’re doing all they can to get across just how unsafe this is for their children.
