Pat Deering says he will do everything he can to try and save Muinebheag Vocational School from closing.
It was revealed on Thursday that the school will not be enrolling any new students next September while yesterday an Education Officer with Kilkenny & Carlow Education & Training Board said just 11 students were planning to enroll in September.
Speaking to KCLR, Pat says he intends to meet with those directly involved early next week to see what can be done.
