Pat O’ Neill has confirmed to KCLR that he will bid to hold on to his seat in the Seanad.
The outgoing Transport spokesman has secured a nomination and will spend the next few weeks now trying to secure the votes he needs to retain his seat in the Upper house.
Senator O Neill says he will travel the country now to meet with Councillors.
And he says he doesn’t expect it will be easy to get re-elected.
