A Bagenalstown Councillor fears illegal dumping will become a bigger problem when new rules on household waste come in this year.
The pay-by-weight charges are due to come into effect in July and Andy Gladney says he’s concerned it will lead to more fly-tipping.
It’s already an issue in Bagenalstown where rats have become a problem at a local children’s playground.
Councillor Gladney says it is a serious worry.
