Pedestrian knocked down in Kilkenny City as emergency services attend scene

Emergency Services are currently at the scene of an accident in Kilkenny City.

The incident occured on Johns Street shortly before 2.30pm this afternoon.

A male pedestrian has been knocked down and a diversion is in place.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being transferred to St Lukes Hospital

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
