Jerry Fish was born in Dublin but raised in London.
While he served his apprenticeship as a painter, he was always fascinated with singing and performing.
Following a period of travel in Europe, he first tasted success as lead singer with An Emotional Fish, one of Ireland’s most popular bands.The band folded in the mid-90’s but while he took time out of performing he never took time out of his life as an artist.
He has re-emerged in recent years and has arguably become even more popular, as a consummate live performer and songwriter. He is also curating a stage at Electric Picnic the year.
