Madeleine Forrest was born and reared in Ballitore Co. Kildare but has spent a lot of her working life in County Carlow, where she moved from a typical 9-5 career to becoming her own boss in the retail trade.
She currently operates the coffee shop at Duckett’s Grove which was recently voted as best coffee shop on the KCLR96FM Breakfast show poll. She’s a busy woman with a nice selection of music…and arrived with a lovely coffee cake when we recorded!
