Sinead De Butléir grew up in Tullaherin Co Kilkenny, finishing her schooling at the Presentation Secondary school in the city.
While she initially embarked on a course in the Arts, she made the decision to change and has spent the last few years studying nursing. She was a Kilkenny Rose and is heavily involved with the charity Chernobyl Children International, with her family hosting children over the years
