Tom Newman was born in London and raised along the River Thames. He discovered music at a young age and his decision to make it his career has made for an interesting life.
He’s been playing music for more years than he cares to remember, continues to do so and is as enthusiastic as ever. He has made a number of albums of his own music in a variety of bands and as a solo artist and has produced/engineered a wide variety of albums, but for a generation of music fans he will be remembered as the engineer and producer of the legendary album “Tubular Bells” which celebrated its 40th anniversary recently.
