People left with no option but to stay long-term in Kilkenny homeless shelter

The manager of a local homeless shelter says the crisis is the worst he’s ever seen it.
Fergus Keane runs The Good Shepherd Centre in Kilkenny and he was speaking as figures show that over 5,000 people are living in emergency accommodation nationally.
Speaking to KCLR Fergus says that the housing shortage has resulted in people having to avail of their service for much longer than intended.
And he says that he’s never witnessed the homelessness situation in the country as bad as it now is.
