Breda McDonald was born and reared in the south of Kilkenny, growing up on a busy farm where she learned many of the award winning skills she has today and is still farming. She was also a butter maker for many years.
She has been heavily involved with the Irish Farmers’ Association and also with the Irish Countrywomen’s Association, both at national and local level and was a mentor on the IFTA award winning programme I.C.A. Boot Camp.
