The official opening of Pieta House’s newest centre for the South East is taking place today.
Locals from Carlow and Kilkenny are invited to go along and see their premises in Wexford Town and get information about their services from 1 o’clock this afternoon.
Having opened their doors in Wexford at the end of June, they deal with the areas of suicide prevention, self-harm and suicide bereavement.
Pauline Lawlor is Bereavement Liaison Officer there and she told KCLR News they expect to be able to help more people after their official opening today.
