Piltown looks to the future while honouring its past

The South Kilkenny village of Piltown has benefited from many positive advances in recent years, including the redevelopment of the old creamery into a Community Enterprise Centre, the creation of a new playground just off the Main Street and the enduring success of the Iverk Show, which celebrates its bicentenary this year.

KCLR News caught up with local resident Robert Duggan, who is heavily involved in both the Iverk Show and the local Community Alert Group, to talk about life in Piltown and how the community is striving to evolve and improve on a whole host of fronts.
