The saga around Ferrybank Shopping Centre looks set to continue.
After years of Lying vacant planning permission was sought by anchor tenant Dunnes Stores and subsequently granted to allow them proceed with plans for retail, convenieince and leisure spaces back in August.
It’s now understood that Waterford City and County Council has lodged an appeal with An Coimisiún Pleanála.
Community activist Damien Donoghue says “the people of the community will not stop until the centre is open.”
