Plans for a major new development on the Kilkenny/Waterford border are being welcomed by local councillors.
They’ve been given a presentation on Waterford’s Strategic Development Zone which would see a transport hub, businesses and other infrastructure built on the Ferrybank side of the river.
The plans for the multi-million euro development are currently on display and you’re being urged to have your say on them before the end of the month.
Waterford County Council are understood to be looking for funding of in the region of €63,000,000.
Speaking to KCLR News, South Kilkenny councillor Pat Dunphy says the first step is to get these plans finalised.
