“We’re living in a health and safety hazard, and nothing’s being done”
Those were the words of Orla O’Shea who’s a resident of Polerone Green housing estate in Mooncoin in South Kilkenny.

The 22 houses in the estate have been having problems with their Wood Pellet Heating System for 8 years now – and nothing has been done about it yet.
An independent assessment was carried out at the houses, and a report has been sent to the Minister for the Environment to sign off on it.
Speaking to KCLR, Orla says they’re living in a health and safety hazard, and something needs to be done.
