Polish Candidate says unemployment is the most important issue in local elections

A Polish candidate for the upcoming local elections says unemployment is the most important issue.

Wladek Hanczar  settled in the area after coming over to work in the Galmoy mine.

He says he developed his life interest in politics in his native Poland and worked for the Solidarity union under former President and democracy icon Lech Walesa.

Hanczar says the most important thing to bring in investment is to get people working.
