Organisers of the Graiguenamanagh Regatta have expressed their deep regret at the cancellation of their annual event.
Today (Sunday) was due to see the annual Traditional Regatta Day go ahead but the ban on swimming in the area has forced organisers to call it off.

Bank Holiday Monday’s Rowing Regatta has also fallen foul of the restrictions with organisers making the decision to cancel.
