Post-mortem due on body found in derelict house in Carlow

A post-mortem will take place today after the body of a 34 year old local man was found in Carlow at the weekend.

A Garda appeal for help in tracing Rory Gahan was issued last week – he hadn’t been seen since just after Christmas.

On Friday afternoon a body was discovered in a derelict house on the Dublin Road in Carlow.

A post mortem is due to be carried out today at Waterford University Hospital and Gardaí say the results of that will determine the course of any investigation.
