A post mortem examination will be carried out at Waterford University hospital today on the body of an elderly man who died in a house fire in Co Kilkenny yesterday.
Emergency services were called to the blaze which broke out at the home in Uskerty in Coon at around midday.
A man in his 90’s lost his life in the fire.His body has now been removed to Waterford where a post mortem will take place today.
A technical exam was conducted at the scene yesterday. Gardai say they are not treating the fire as suspicious.
