Power cuts hit Carlow and Kilkenny

A number of areas across Carlow and Kilkenny have been hit with power outages.

At least seven faults have been reported to ESB since lunchtime.

Two are in Bagenalstown where 1,867 customers are affected until between 2:30pm & 4:45pm.

1,423 are impacted in Tullow with an estimated restoration time of 5pm.

In Kilkenny city, 546 who are served by the McDonagh station are affected with two outages at Purcell’s Inch – 545 affected by one with 90 hit by the other.

There are 24 properties in Graignamangh without supply until about 4:45pm.

While 64 in Grannagh, South Kilkenny should have theirs back by 2:30pm.
