Presentation de la Salle Bagenalstown win public vote in Junk Kouture competition

There’s been success for one local secondary school in the Junk Kouture competition, with presentation de la Salle Bagenalstown winning the public vote.

Their design “you’re not my type” had 13, 739 votes when the competition closed at midnight.

There are a number of local schools taking part in the event which required students to make a wearable piece of fashion from rubbish. They include Tullow Community School, Borris Vocational School and Castlecomer Community School.

Speaking to KCLR, Ciara Carew from presentation de la Salle Bagenalstown says the grand final is the next step.
