Property recovered on Castlecomer road following city burglaries

Gardai are looking for information on a silver or light blue saloon type car after a number of burglaries in Kilkenny city last night.

A number of homes in the Dukesmeadows area were broken into between yesterday afternoon and 10 o clock last night.

Then at quarter past 10 last night 4 suspects left the scene of a burglary at Weirview.

Gardai carried out a search of the area but didnt locate them

However a briefcase taken during the course of one of the burglaries was recovered at Dunmore on the Castlecomer road.
