Locals in the Ballyhale area of South Kilkenny will be briefed today on the progress of their new community shop and café.
Construction works on Billy’s Tea Rooms and Shop got underway a number of weeks ago after receiving more than €100,000 in grant funding.
Representatives from Kilkenny LEADER, the County Council, the local committee, and other groups involved will be on-hand this evening to answer any questions.
Organisers say they’ll also have the provisional menu involved.
Speaking to KCLR News, committee member, Noreen Murphy says the project is really coming together now but it will be February before it’s finished.
