Local Gardai have reported a relatively quiet Halloween night in Carlow and Kilkenny.
No major incidents involving bonfires or fireworks were reported.
However in Dublin the fire brigade posted a map on twitter charting their activity as they dealt with hundreds of call outs across the capital involving bonfires, cars set alight and fires in the middle of some roads.
Dublin bus withdrew some of its services due to anti social behaviour.
