Rates to drop for businesses in Carlow from 2016

Rates in Carlow are to decrease from 2016 onwards.

At Carlow County Council’s annual budget meeting yesterday, it was announced that the rates will be frozen for 2015 but that town rates will start to be reduced from the beginning of the following year.

Speaking to KCLR news, Fine Gael Councillor, Feral Browne says that this will be reassuring for businesses in the town.
