A Carlow woman will be hoping to get her husband out of jail in Crete today.
Julie Marku from Rathvilly is there for an appeal hearing for her husband Mark Marku who is serving an 18 year sentence for car thefts and armed robberies
Those campaigning for his release say they have proof he was in Ireland when some of the alleged crimes happened.
The appeals hearings have already been moved 5 times, but Julie told KCLR news that she hopes with the support they have got from MEPS, it will be heard today.
