Reminder to parents to register children under-6 for Free GP care

You’re reminded you have to register to sign up for free GP care for children under 6.

The scheme is effective from today at most local doctors surgeries – more than 84 percent have signed up to it.

Many local practices have contacted patients to advise them that they are participating in the scheme but a full list is available on the HSE website www.hse.ie

Local GP Dr Tadhg Crowley says if you havent signed up first you wont be able to avail of it.
