Brian Cody is well used to preparing for an All-Ireland final in early September but this year for the first time he has a little more time on his hands.
The Kilkenny manager would usually have to share his focus with the start of a new school year but this year he has retired as Principal of St Patricks De La Salle school in the city.
Brian told KCLR that it hasn’t really sunk in yet as he’s busy with the hurling. He said it still feels like he’s on his holidays.
