Road users urged to light up with a dense fog over parts of Kilkenny and Carlow this morning

Extra care is needed on the roads this morning with a heavy fog affecting parts of Kilkenny and Carlow.

Drivers and other road users are being urged to ensure they are adequately lit up.

Temperatures have also dipped overnight resulting in a light frost in some areas.

A dry day is forecast once the fog lifts later this morning.
