Rotary club urging locals to volunteer this Christmas

The Rotary Club is looking for volunteers to help them with their Christmas Remembrance Tree in the Carlow Town.

The project provides a simple yet, poignant way of remembering loved ones amid the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season.

It starts next Friday with a special blessing at the Remembrance Tree at Barrack Street.

Eamonn Long is the project chairman and he says they’re looking for volunteers to help them this Christmas.
