You’re being reminded just how important it is to make sure your child’s car seats are fitted correctly as the latest figures show 4 out of 5 of them are not.
The Road Safety Authority’s ‘Check It Fits Service’ is returning to Carlow in just over two weeks time where they’ll be providing a free service for parents to avail of.
84 cars were checked in Carlow on their last visit back in September.
According to their statistics 80% are not installed correctly – and this can lead to serious injury or even death if the car is involved in a crash.
